Lungs of the City

Victoria Park: Lungs of the City was a collaboration with Karen Jones from Kent University to capture the meaning a park has in the imagination of those who use it. Karen’s surveys of park visitors invited them to share how they use the park, what memories of the park they had, and what their favorite spots were. My infographic, which resembles an informational park notice board, captures the information Karen gathered, as well as depicting the park’s history through plague, war and urbanization as London’s population grew from the 19th to 21st centuries.
